Theology from a Baptist Perspective, for the Serious Bible Student

Using the notes of the well loved professor, Dr. Jack Willsey, this work will allow any believer to "work out their faith" until they are mature and no longer children. Jack refined his teaching for more than four decades to the beautiful state that we can now share.
Choosing not to publish – ever – he nevertheless, in his late 80’s, succumbed to one of his student’s continuous requests. Not to publish himself, but for pastor Rick Henderson, to “use these notes extensively” to produce a book profitable to the church. This book is, then, a celebration of the life’s work of Dr. Jack Willsey of Northwest Baptist Seminary.
This systematic look at the faith breaks down into these sections:
· An introduction to theological study – Prolegomena
· Instruction on what scripture is and how we should read and study it – Bibliology
· Who, and what, the Triune God is. Teachings on the Father – Theology Proper
· Who the Son is, in divine and human form – Christology
· Who the Holy Spirit is and how he works with the church, individually and corporately – Pneumatology
· The other spirit beings – Angelology (which also includes a study of Satan and his hordes).
· What it means to be human from a Biblical perspective. What it means, scripturally, to be a man or woman – Anthropology
· Defining sin, its origin, and its grip on humanity and all creation – Hamartiology
· Grasping Salvation –Soteriology
· An exploration of what the Church of Jesus Christ is – Ecclesiology
· Our future, individually and as the body of Christ – Eschatology
