Christian Leaders’ Guide to The Art of Wisdom – Chapter 11
More individual proverbs. This might be a good time to remind everyone that proverbs are about life flow; but this is also scripture – the words in the autographs (the original manuscripts finished by the Biblical authors) and inspired by the Holy Spirit. They both carry great weight, and tell us about the nature of God – as well as that of men.

The Form of Wisdom
Have a clear view of the various literary forms used in the scriptures; especially the Hebrew poetic form. But be able to contrast that with narrative, didactic, legal, and other forms.
As in all written communication the literary form colors how we understand the text itself. God is certainly capable of communicating with us in this way (through the human authors). Make sure those you lead understand this concept – it is critical to understanding the Word of God!
