A Guide For Parents, Grandparents, Mentors And Group Leaders.

Companion to The Art of Wisdom Study Journal or Reader’s “leather” version.

The goal of The Art of Wisdom – to present the biblical text to all people, whatever their belief.  Since we believe, with the Apostle Paul, that “all scripture is profitable”, simply making the text available and accessible to people will produce results.

Note that The Art of Wisdom does quote Paul and even Jesus, but no direct mention of Christ is made in any place.  This was done to make it possible for the book to be presented in most any setting – even public schools. When in those settings use wisdom and do not “cast your pearls before swine”.

But what if you are leading Christians?  Hopefully this free digital book will help.

It is designed for you to use one section/chapter at a time.  Each chapter file will have three sections – general commentary on the chapter, New Testament references that may prove useful (linked to the verses in Proverbs), and then a replication of the Study Guide questions.

If that chapter in the book has a specific teaching extra to the chapter (i.e. that on Solomon and Manly Love) then there will usually be some teaching thoughts on that.  There is also some extra commentary or thoughts spread throughout that might help a mature believer guide others in this study.

This free resource was going to be a quick project but, like the book, has eaten way more time than I thought. (The book itself took eight years!) It is still in process and I will try to add a chapter every few weeks until it is finished.  Please let me know if you are using it so that I can wisely use my time.

And, just to be clear, absolutely no AI was used at any time in the writing of this or anything else this author has produced. Which also means any mistakes are entirely human in origin!  Please let me know if you find any, or have any suggestions.
